A repair story from our volunteer and member Keith. In this case he was brought a broken piece of furniture by a family member and got it back into use. What a hero!
Tonight I fixed a broken desk draw of a family member.
I used a free sample of Gorilla Wood Glue I got from Maker Central and a ratchet strap to hold the draw together whilst it dried.
Next day I scraped away the excess glue with a pen knife.
Draw back in service again.
Repair Cafe Gosport is the Second Saturday of the month (except August), between 10:30am and 1pm at the community maker space.
Residents of Gosport bring their broken items to fix them on the spot with the help of voluntary repairers.
